Do amor entre uma brasileira e um inglês nasceu o Castelo Britânico para encantar quem o visita. Um projeto arrojado, iniciado para o prazer pessoal do casal, transformou-se em um ponto turístico. Porém, preservando suas características iniciais voltadas para um bom atendimento exclusivo sem aglomerações.
Rodeado de muito verde, a construção possui quatro andares. O Castelo Britânico é a representação da paixão e do orgulho desse casal pelas tradições, história e cultura inglesa e escocesa.
A construção física do projeto começou em 1988 e foi concluída em 2006. O espaço temático foi feito com uma coleção de peças e objetos originários trazidos das viagens ao Reino Unido. Exceção feita aos móveis, que foram talhados por marceneiros da região com base em estudos de livros e fotografias.
Por todos os cantos, temos a sensação de experimentar de perto e estar em contato com essa cultura rica de características únicas. Encontramos salas decoradas com quadros da banda The Beatles, poltronas, mesa de bilhar, lareira e a famosa cabine telefônica vermelha.
Outro ambiente é dedicado a Winston Churchill, primeiro-ministro da Inglaterra durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Muitos outros detalhes, como exposição de fotos, pratos, xícaras e lustres, fazem parte deste pequeno universo inglês.
O brunch no Castelo Britânico segue um menu e tradições inglesas. Tudo é feito no local e servido impecavelmente em louça de porcelana inglesa. De entrada, é servido um muffin de banana com canela, iogurte natural, amora e castanhas, além de uma gelatina de amora com chantilly. Para beber, são oferecidos suco de laranja orgânico e um drink feito de licor de amora reduzido e espumante.
Em seguida, como prato principal, é servido roast de bacon com batata e ovos beneditinos, finalizado com creme holandês. Como sobremesa, bolo de rum com amoras e chantilly.
